Porth Beach is an award-winning Newquay beach, and a popular narrow stretch of golden sand and turquoise water situated between the town of Newquay and Watergate Bay. Flanked and sheltered by two vast headlands, the spectacular beach welcomes visitors, locals, and surfers year-round. As of 2024, Porth Beach has been awarded the Seaside Award which celebrates the commitment to environment, water quality, and safety of the beach.
Lifeguards are on patrol between 10am-6pm each day between 18th May to 29th September.
Situated on the outskirts of the vibrant town of Newquay, the Mermiad Inn is located in a prime location on Porth Beach. A proud, Cornish beachside venue, 'The Mermaid' is a family and dog friendly bar and restaurant which offers delicious food, hot and cold drinks, entertainment and unbeatable sunsets.

The caravan is set in the middle of some famous walks that stretch from newquay to watergate bay. The breath taking walks are dog friendly and spotted with plenty of places to rest on the way with bus routes back to the holiday park in between when youve had enough.
